C-TAC Caregiving Mixer

C-TAC hosted a virtual mixer on September 20 focusing on the needs and well-being of caregivers for people with serious illness. Bill Novelli, co-founder, and co-board chair of C-TAC, opened the mixer by stating, “When you look at the (C-TAC) mission statement, there is no part of it that is more important than caregiving.”

C-TAC and the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) have joined forces for this Leadership Summit for a uniquely immersive, multi-track experience of talks, panels, interviews, and roundtables to ensure a mix of learning, sharing, and networking. Leaders from all sectors focused on advancing person-centered care for people living with a serious illness should attend.

Milken Institute

C-TAC has joined the Milken Institute’s Center for Future Aging Alliance to Improve Dementia Care. The Alliance brings together a multi-sector coalition of leaders to advance timely detection, access to treatment and coordinated care, and health equity for people at risk for and living with dementia and their caregivers.

C-TAC hosted a mixer on July 25 highlighting the need to include the pediatric voice in serious illness care. The discussion focused on pivotal policy and program solutions to enhance care for children grappling with serious illnesses and their families.

USAging Conference

C-TAC’s partnership with USAging’s Aging and Disability Business Institute continued this summer with a sold-out session at the Answers in Aging Conference in Salt Lake City, July 16, where the partners presented a pre-conference intensive, Making Advance Care Planning Part of Your Services Portfolio. C-TAC's Multi-Payor Learning Collaborative

C-TAC hosted a multi-payor learning collaborative convening in Portland, OR on June 12th in partnership with the America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Summit. The multi-payor collaborative convenes health plans, integrated delivery systems, accountable care organizations, and other stakeholders to innovate and deliver better care for people with serious illness and their families, share best practices for addressing the needs of those with serious illness,
