C-TAC and the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) have joined forces for this Leadership Summit for a uniquely immersive, multi-track experience of talks, panels, interviews, and roundtables to ensure a mix of learning, sharing, and networking. Leaders from all sectors focused on advancing person-centered care for people living with a serious illness should attend. This includes leaders of health systems, payers, and community-based organizations; clinicians; family care givers; policymakers and government experts; consumer advocates; faith and spiritual leaders; and philanthropic supporters.
We share a common vision of comprehensive, high quality, equitable care for all patients and their families living with serious illness. Together – front line clinicians, working day and night – along with policy changemakers will positively transform the healthcare system. We are aligned to improve health equity and quality of care through policy, advocacy, care innovation, social needs, and clinical skill building.
CAPC and the thousands of clinicians they support are a powerhouse, working to deliver high quality care to the millions of Americans who need it. And that hard-won knowledge of what works is critical for C-TAC’s policy advocacy with state coalitions and in regulatory and legislative work in Washington, and ultimately to achieve our 2030 Moonshot Goal to ensure that all 12 million Americans living with serious illness have a high quality of life.
There are many challenges that lie ahead — assuring equity of access and care, creating fair models of payment, ensuring positive regulatory and legislative action. But, be assured, we are making great progress as a movement. By creating this immersive, multi-track experience with CAPC, we are accelerating that progress.
