On July 4th, President Trump signed into law H.R. 1 – the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), marking what many are calling the most sweeping package of health care reforms since the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was enacted 15 years ago. The legislation passed both chambers by a razor-thin margin following months of intense negotiations within the Republican party.
As the Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC) continues to advocate for person-centered, serious illness care, we are closely analyzing how this law will affect our members and the individuals they serve.
