CTAC + Sep 14, 2022

The Hospice of Baton Rouge has served the greater Baton Rouge community for nearly 4 decades. Since 1984, the grief that comes with serious illness and death has always been part of their core care plan. As the only nonprofit hospice provider in that area, they want to share the knowledge, expertise, and compassion they have with all those grieving, ensuring those resources are accessible to anyone in need. Compassion is their core and community is their motivation.

Mission – The Hospice of Baton Rouge’s Mission is to ensure that its community has access to excellent and compassionate end-of-life care and grief support

Vision – The Hospice of Baton Rouge’s Vision is to educate and serve their community on serious illness, hospice, and the grieving process.

What drew The Hospice of Baton Rouge to C-TAC is Palliative Care, specifically payment for services. In addition, the Medicare Advantage for Hospice is essential to the Hospice of Baton Rouge’s organization.

While at C-TAC, The Hospice of Baton Rouge is looking forward to policy updates and speaking with policymakers.
