Even before the pandemic, Connie was struggling. She had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and, at the same time, was experiencing homelessness. Once she connected with Resolution Care, she was able to obtain the assistance she needed–from Social Security income to housing and critical emotional support. Resolution helped her navigate the often contradictory and confusing health care system and, because much of her treatment was offered virtually, she felt protected and less at risk. Telehealth and palliative care, she says, have “meant the difference between life and death.”
