Peggy Funk is the Executive Director of the Hospice & Palliative Care Network of Maryland (HPCNM), where she provides strategic leadership and advocacy for advancing quality end-of-life care across the state. With over a decades of experience in healthcare policy and nonprofit management, Peggy has been a tireless advocate for improving access to hospice and palliative care services, particularly for underserved communities. Under her leadership, HPCNM has strengthened its role as a resource and advocate for patients, families, and providers, while also fostering collaboration with state and national organizations.
Ms. Funk is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a long-time member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). She is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) with a B.S. in Marketing. Known for her commitment to workforce development, community engagement, and policy initiatives, Peggy ensures equitable and compassionate care for all Marylanders at the end of life. She frequently speaks on issues related to hospice care, palliative care, and healthcare innovation.
